MOSAIC Framework Document Published!

After months of consultations, the MOSAIC group presents version 1.0 of the MOSAIC Frame Work Document. This document represents the vision and general commitment of Unions and Professional Associations, taking a united stand and commiting towards a truly viable and seamless airspace in the core area of Europe. The MOSAIC concept will meet all future ATM challenges in the most complex airspace.

Dear Visitors, Welcome to the MOSAIC Web site. From every corner of Europe, people are starting to talk about one project: MOSAIC. Meetings are held at regular intervals across Europe, Common Statements and advertisement are published, promotion clips are circulating and high level meetings are organised with transport ministers, politicians, airlines and European ATM representatives. WELCOME FATCOA!

During its last meeting held in Nice on the 08th and 09th of September, the MOSAIC group had the privilege to welcome a new member: FATCOA, the French Air Traffic Controllers’ Association.
FATCOA, member of IFATCA, has now joined both MOSAIC and the MARC group, thus ensuring complete coherency for staff representation in the FABEC area.
The inputs of our French colleagues are highly valuable to build the international platform we need as the only logical step for the core area of Europe.
MOSAIC Meeting June 2009

At the end of their two day meeting in Luxembourg, MOSAIC members highlighted that the FABEC could be jeopardised by a lack of political guidance. As providers and national supervisory authorities are all working at their level to increase efficiency, institutional issues are being largely ignored.

Defragmenting Safety supervision in Europe

SATAC UNSA, the independent trade-union of French Civil Aviation Technicians, thinks that we have to consider and include the supervision’s aspects in our project, and that it’s time to draw a parallel between Air Navigation Services Provider and a Safety Supervision in Europe.

Communique Frankfurt 30th January 2009

MOSAIC members took good note of the decisions taken in Bordeaux for the FABEC. The convergence process towards one single international organisation, with one single unit rate and charges collected by a single entity marks a very positive step in the right direction. MOSAIC members support the idea of a state treaty ratified by 2011, and are ready to work on it with governments and providers to place MOSAIC values and principles at the heart of its conception.
PRU FAB Evaluation Report Meeting Intervention

ATC Global 2008 Exhibition & Conference

The MOSAIC group is pleased to announce its participation in the ATC Global 2008. The event was founded 18 years ago under the name of ATC Maastricht as it was held there until February 2007. The event has consistently grown to become the world’s largest event for the air traffic control and management industry.
