Welcome to the MOSAIC Web site.

From every corner of Europe, people are starting to talk about one project: MOSAIC.

Meetings are held at regular intervals across Europe, Common Statements and advertisement are published, promotion clips are circulating and high level meetings are organised with transport ministers, politicians, airlines and European ATM representatives.

But what is MOSAIC ? Does it affect you? Is it a dream or an utopia?

Well, let me confirm right away that in our profession we can not afford the luxury of dreaming. We are confronted with very pragmatic and realistic problems and our ambition is to be able to take up the challenges of tomorrow. When we first started to develop the MOSAIC concepts we did not think short term solutions. We wanted to build on ideas to solve long term challenges and preserve our professional commitments towards the travelling public, the Airlines an the European governments. We could not afford to leave aside certain basic criterions like: Safety-Continuity- Efficiency.

We had to be ambitious but realistic.

That's exactly what you will discover by browsing through this site, or even better by contacting us directly.

Every project has to start with an idea. Some might seem unrealistic depending of interests or influences. To demonstrate that the earth was not flat, it took time and energy to convince the most sceptical. We can now apply the same principles to demonstrate that there is a real alternative to competition and privatisation; that a trans-national public service can deliver more benefits to the users than any privatised entity; that we already succeeded to join many unions and associations towards a common goal; that MOSAIC is not a dream but a future.

Together we have a chance to build that part of Europe that citizens are expecting for their Air Navigation Services.
